Donation FAQ

HOW WILL DONATIONS BE COLLECTED/DISTRIBUTED?

Donations are currently being accepted from individuals, families, and corporations through the Families for Families website. Organizers ask that donors pledge $200 per month for 1 year. However, donors can make a one-time donation or pledge a different monthly amount at their discretion. A caseworker specifically assigned to the participating family will work to assess the level of need. The caseworker will also serve as an intermediary between the relief fund and landlords and/or property managers.

WILL PAYMENTS BE MADE TO ME OR MY LANDLORD OR PROPERTY OWNER?

Payments for your rent will be paid directly to the landlord or property owner.
